Our Winemaker, Steve, a maverick in the Wisconsin wine industry, was amongst the first to produce a wine from the Frontenac Blanc grape in 2017. When his first vintage sold out immediately and won numerous top awards, he knew he was on to something! The Frontenac Blanc grape is a variation of the Frontenac Gris grape and the newest member of the Frontenac family. Steve crafted this wine using a cool, slow fermentation to accentuate the grape’s aromatics, and it is now his favorite white wine.
