SHIPPING FAQS

How long will it take to receive my wine?

Depending on where you live you may receive the wine in as little as one day or up to one week. The wine travels via UPS directly from our Kewaunee, WI location.

 Will I receive a tracking notification?

You will receive a tracking notification via email once your wine is en route. 

 What happens if I am not home to receive my wine?

By law, wine must be received and signed for by someone 21 or older.  If you are not home to sign upon delivery, you are able to work with UPS to arrange another time for delivery of your package.  UPS will leave you an InfoNotice. 

At the top of the missed delivery notification, you'll see the date the UPS Infonotice was left and whether it was the first, second, or final attempt. UPS makes up to three delivery attempts, excluding weekends and holidays. UPS will return to shipper all Ground packages after the final delivery attempt, with the exception of packages where the shipper requested a delivery signature. All Signature Required, Adult Signature Required, Air, UPS 3 Day Select® and International packages will be held for five business days to give the customer time to make arrangements to receive their packages.

 Can I change my shipping address at any time?

Yes. You can choose any commercial, business, or residential address as long as you are able to sign for your package.  Your address needs to be updated before the selected shipping date.  In the event your address is changed after your wine is shipped or if your wine is returned to us, additional fees may apply.

It is important that you follow up immediately with UPS if you are not home during the day for your delivery. Should you need to change your address, please contact the winery at 1-888-932-0044.  You can also email us at club@parallel44.com.

Can I have my wine releases delivered to home or work?

Although you may ship to a home address, we strongly recommend shipping to a business address where someone 21 years or older is available to sign for the package upon delivery. We cannot ship to PO boxes or APO FPO addresses.

Why does someone over the age of 21 have to sign for the delivery?

It is required by law that someone over the age of 21 signs to receive the wine, because wine is a controlled alcoholic beverage. Should you have further questions regarding this please call and speak with the Wine Club Manager at 1-888-932-0044.

How is my wine shipment protected during extreme weather?

We have found that most temperature damage occurs when shipments exposed to extreme temperatures in a truck in transit over the weekend or holidays. To avoid this, we do not typically ship on Fridays or the day before a national holiday. We occasionally may hold wine shipments due to extreme weather along the delivery route. You will be notified via email if there is a weather hold.

If you feel that you have received a damaged bottle due to extreme weather, please do not hesitate to contact us for a replacement bottle.

Why can you only ship to select states for Vintner's Choice Club?

State laws regulate the direct shipment of wine. Some states prevent wineries from shipping directly to consumers.
